Are you passionate about reducing food waste? Are you looking for a fun, engaging, and exciting volunteer opportunity? Look no further! Zero Food Waste Ottawa is looking for Volunteer Food Rescuers!

About Zero Food Waste Canada:

Zero Waste Canada is a non-profit organization that believes in a sustainable world. We aim to alleviate hunger and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by redirecting excess food from restaurants and bakeries to those in need.

Zero Waste Canada is expanding across Canada, and currently operates in: Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, Ottawa ON, Kingston ON, and Hamilton ON!

Being a Food Rescuer:

As a Food Rescuer, you will be responsible for taking on shifts that will have you pick up food donations from partnering restaurants to partnering charities across Ottawa. You will have access to a list of shifts that you can sign up for. Reporting to the Volunteer Coordinator, you will be able to work with them to find a flexible schedule that works for you!

From making your own schedule, reducing food waste, and being a part of a great team, volunteering with Zero Food Waste Ottawa does not get any easier!
