Needed: Food Rescuer (Volunteer Driver)
Organization: Zero Food Waste Ottawa
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Zero Food Waste Canada is a national non-profit organization that aims to drive excess food away from landfills.
Our work wouldn't be possible without our volunteer drivers who pick up all the food from restaurants, cafes and stores and then deliver them to charity organizations across the city.
Becoming a food rescuer is a great way to make a direct impact in your own community. Shifts are very flexible and you can participate on a weekly basis or on a less frequent basis (on-call)
Note: you need to own your a vehicle to participate
