Board Members Needed (volunteer)

ACORN Board of Directors is looking for passionate individuals dedicated to promoting and supporting organic farming in Atlantic Canada. As a board member, you will play a key role in guiding ACORN’s strategy and supporting the organic community.

Position Description:

Board members are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of ACORN, ensuring that we stay true to our mission and values. This is a volunteer position with a term of 3 years. Virtual meetings are held monthly (except during peak season).

Eligibility:

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have experience in organic farming, advocacy, education, or policy.
  • Are committed to advancing organic agriculture in Atlantic Canada.
  • Bring expertise in areas such as governance, finance, marketing, or regional networking.
  • Can commit 2-3 hours per month for meetings, events, and ACORN activities.
