About Us:

Stable Harvest Farm is a non-profit organization that has donated over 360,000 lbs. of fresh produce to local communities since 2020. We have also educated thousands of children, schools, and families through our free on-site educational tours, which teach where food comes from and why protecting the environment matters. Up until 2025 we have had Nigerian dwarf goats & heritage chickens, the goats and chickens have been such a success with kids, we are adding miniature pigs, lambs, alpacas, and miniature horses.

About the Job:

The perfect fit for this role is someone who is passionate about animal care and enjoys working outdoors in a farm environment. You should have hands-on experience with farm animals and understand their needs, from feeding and health checks to maintaining clean and safe living spaces.

Beyond animal care, you should be comfortable engaging with students and visitors, sharing your knowledge to create a fun and educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for and manage farm animals such as chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, and alpacas.
• Ensure all animals are well-fed, comfortable, and healthy.
• Assist with the daily care, feeding routines, and health checks.
• Work as part of a team to maintain clean and safe living environments for the animals.
• Engage with students as part of our educational tours, helping them learn about the animals and farm life

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in farm animal care or working on an animal farm is preferred.
• Ability to handle and care for a variety of animals.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work with students.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Week: 40 hours/week

Compensation: $21.00/hour
