Positions: Field Production - Farmer
Farm: Black Table Farm
Location: Langley/Aldergrove, Lower Mainland BC

Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal (May to October)
Compensation: $18/hour, with additional wage compensation possible based on experience

Join our dynamic team and be a vital part of our farm's success! We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to contribute to our field production and assist with restaurant deliveries. If you're passionate about sustainable farming and enjoy hands-on work, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Role:

As a valued team member, you will actively participate in daily and weekly harvests, ensuring the highest quality produce reaches our customers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining field crops, engaging in weeding activities, participating in post-harvest processing, packing orders, and assisting with seasonal field tasks.

Work Hours:

• Full-time positions entail approximately 8-8.5 hours a day, 4-5 days a week (35-40 hours weekly, potentially more during peak seasons).
• Part time posisition is also available 8-8.5 hours a day 2-3 days a week
• Volunteers are welcome, please specify why you would like to volenteer and what interests you in farming.

Desired Qualities:

We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, unafraid of physical challenges. The ideal candidate should excel in both team and independent work settings and display self-motivation in task completion.

Requirements:

• Availability and preference for a full season or summer season position.
• Valid BC driver’s license and willingness to undertake delivery driving responsibilities.
• Canadian residency status.
• If a student, specify plans for returning to full-time studies in the fall and any other commitments.
