Hiring: Market Gardener
Farm: Still Growing Farm
Location: Winchester, about 40 minutes south of downtown Ottawa, Ontario
Our farm is hiring one full time and one part time market gardener to assist in the production of organic vegetables.
We grow a variety of vegetables for our weekly vegetable subscription and for the various farmers markets that we attend.
Duties include crop production (in the nursery, the greenhouse and in the field) weed control (using tools and by hand) harvesting and washing veggies, and planting or seeding new crops.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:30.
