Hear from Our Past Summer Student:
“Working for OFT as a farmland ecology assistant this past summer was an amazing experience and I have learned so much. It was a great opportunity to learn about how land trusts work, develop my skills in species identification and report writing, learn more about our food systems, see the province, and meet so many amazing people. I really enjoyed the variety of tasks I got to work on and it's very rewarding to know that my work went towards such an important cause. I would absolutely recommend this position to anyone else with an interest in conservation and food sovereignty!” – Anika, summer student 2024
